Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear is inviting the public to attend the 14th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, held in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. The breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 3 at White River Christian Church, 1685 N. 10th St., Noblesville. Tickets are $25 per person or $175 for a table of eight. All proceeds will be donated to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Chaplaincy Program.
The ecumenical and non-denominational prayer and worship service is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast and the testimony. This year’s featured speaker is Hamilton County Superior Court No. 1 Judge Steven R. Nation. Nation was elected to the bench in 1995 after serving 16 years as Hamilton County prosecutor. In the community, Nation is actively involved in numerous Noblesville and Hamilton County organizations and was instrumental in creation and ongoing success of the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program.
“The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast provides interested community members a time for Christian fellowship to positively touch our city for good. Men and women of faith glorifying God and asking His blessings on our community, schools, families, public services and churches,” said Ditslear. “I look forward to hearing Judge Nation speak and share about how faith has guided his life.”
