Joyce Ann Ewing

October 29, 1945 – February 3, 2023

Joyce Ann Ewing, 77, Noblesville, made her Heavenly journey, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday, February 3, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1945, to Emory and Hazel (Surrett) Parsons in Lee County, Va.

Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandmother, and most importantly, a devoted Christian. She had a beautiful servant’s heart and everyone who knew her loved her. After moving to Indiana, Joyce worked many jobs and those that made her most proud were those taking care of others. She aided in care of children at Arcadia Children’s Home and was a QMA at Noblesville Nursing Home and Turtle Creek Nursing Home (now Riverwalk). The last 30 years before retirement Joyce was a Nurse Technician at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was loved by co-workers and patients alike. Joyce touched many lives through her care and loving kindness. She was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Noblesville.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny, William, Jessee, Claude, Emmitt, Phillip, and Earl; sisters, Deloris Cochran, Della Parsons, and Alberta Flanary.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Ewing of Noblesville; son, Ron (Shannell) Ewing of Cicero; daughter, Pam (Kevin) Walden of Marion, Ark.; grandchildren, Tara Mackenzie Ewing of Indianapolis, Cameron Alexander Ewing of Noblesville, Tanner Joseph Ewing of Cicero, and Izabella Rosalee Dawson of Cicero; sister, Gearldean Ruth Salyers of Noblesville; as well as several beloved sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral services at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Pastor Alfred Parks will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
