Jon Dartt, recently retired Indianapolis business executive and 29-year resident of Westfield, will run as a Republican candidate for the Westfield City Council, District 1, in the May 2023 primary.
An accomplished leader at Indianapolis-based Delta Faucet Company, Dartt spent 22 of his 28-year career as a Vice President. His strong financial acumen coupled with experience leading teams, driving collaboration, problem solving and developing long-range plans will be key attributes to serve the residents and businesses of Westfield.
“The city will face many opportunities and challenges in the coming years,” Dartt said, “and electing me to the council will provide the needed business experience to proactively move our city forward.”
Dartt talked to many residents, businesses, and city leaders before declaring his candidacy. Based on those discussions, he will focus his campaign on public safety, education, downtown development, long-range planning and Grand Park business expansion.
“We have much to be proud of in Westfield and I want to work closely with city officials and community leaders to make Westfield THE Hamilton County destination for residents, businesses, developers and visitors,” Dartt said.
