The Noblesville Fire Department Auxiliary will host its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and open house from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Noblesville Fire Station No. 71, 135 S. Ninth St.
Besides a delicious $5 all-you-can-eat breakfast, the fire department will hand out smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to those in need this year. There also will be truck demonstrations, a wooden fire house that the kids can spray with the hose, station tours and the opportunity to meet and talk with Noblesville firefighters.
The breakfast and open house kick off Fire Safety Week, which is held every year in the United States to help educate people about fire prevention and safety. This year’s event is sponsored by Walmart and Stanz Foodservice. For more information, contact the Noblesville Fire Department at (317) 776-6336.
