John Dale Moore, 80, Kirklin, formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday evening, November 15, 2018 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born April 2, 1938 in Westfield, he was the son of the late Leon and Mary (McNeely) Moore.
Dale graduated from Westfield High School with the Class of 1957 and worked for Truss Manufacturing as a truck driver and dispatcher for over 30 years. He loved going to auctions, but when there weren’t any nearby by that piqued his interest, garage sales were the next best thing. Dale also had a deep love for his family, especially his grandson, and for fishing; and not always in that order. Any day he got to go fishing was a good day; and if he got to do it with his grandson, well … it was an even better one.
Dale is survived by the love of his life, Linda (Anthon) Moore. She and Dale were married on July 7, 1972. Also surviving are his daughter, Sheryl Loudermilk (Doug), Westfield; his grandson, Christopher Loudermilk, Westfield; one brother, Wayne Moore (Joan), Greenfield; two sisters, Peggy Fulton (Gary), Sheridan, and Patty Moore, Avon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Darryl Moore; and by his sister, Jane Noe.
No services are being planned at this time.
