Joan McVey, 89, Westfield, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on November 22, 1934, to Harry and Thelma (Fosnight) Ballard in Westfield.
Joan lived her entire life in Westfield. She worked as a special needs bus aide for Carmel Schools.
Joan is survived by her sons, Randy & wife Mindy Holliday and Mark Holliday; daughter, Tammy & husband Dennis King; sister, Wanda Camp; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Holliday and Jay Holliday; sisters, Betty Wildoner and Patricia Stiles; brothers, Richard Ballard and Gene Ballard; partner, Harold Mikesell; grandson, Timothy Carter; and her granddaughter, Monica Patterson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., with services at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Inurnment will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield at a later date.
