Jo Anne Messersmith, 77, Westfield, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Wellbrooke of Westfield. She was born on November 29, 1942 to Charles and Vera (Cope) Arthur in Indianapolis.
For many years Jo Anne was part owner of MCM Enterprises, then she worked for Michaels Craft Store before retirement. Jo Anne was a member of Eagle Creek Friends Church. She liked to spend time in her garden, was a collector of nativity scenes, and enjoyed crocheting. Jo Anne made the most amazing cream puffs. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald “Ron” Messersmith; son, Charles Messersmith; daughter, Paula (James) Myers; grandchildren, Andrew and Benjamin Messersmith, and Cory, Hannah and Samantha Myers.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Ken Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Eagletown Cemetery in Westfield. Family and friends are invited to share a meal at the Eagle Creek Friends Church community building following the burial.
