Jewell G. Siler, 85, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Hamilton Trace of Fishers. She was born on June 23, 1937, to Hubert and Ossie (Jones) Cooper in Pennington Gap, Va.
Jewell was a nursing home dietician for many years before retiring. She was a member of Trinity House of Worship and loved attending church.
She is survived by her sons, Steve (Becky) Barnette and Dan (Carolyn) Barnette; grandchildren, Billie (Glenn) Busch, Rayna Ennen, Kali (AJ) Lollar, and Leah Barnette; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Stapleton; brother, Gary (Victoria) Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Barnette; second husband, Charles Siler; and siblings, Eugene Cooper, Anna Mae Ball, Shirley Cooper, Garvie Cooper, Richard Cooper, Bobby Cooper, and Loretta Hess.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Pastor Jed Henson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
