Jeremy Nelson Hopkins, 38, Noblesville, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, September 8, 2023, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on May 25, 1985, to Brett and Laura (Heiny) Hopkins in Heidelberg, Germany.
Jeremy graduated from Noblesville High School in 2004, was summa cum laude at Indiana State University, and received a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University. He was a brave veteran who proudly served the country he loved in the U.S. Army Reserves for nine years. Jeremy was a gentle giant with a big smile who loved everyone fiercely. His faith in God was cornerstone; he knew where he was headed, and he exhibited grace at all times. Jeremy had a compassion for others and dedicated his life to helping others. He loved his daughter, Vivian, who was the light of his life.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Brett & Laura Hopkins; daughter, Vivian Hopkins; brother, Joshua (Cassandra) Hopkins; nephews, Braydon Hopkins, Braxton Horn, and Ryker Hopkins; uncle, Bryan Hopkins; aunts, Suellen (Mike) Fletcher and Vickie Hopkins; cousins, Megan Hopkins and Matthew Fletcher; great-aunt, Nancy Atterson; Vivian’s mother, Stephanie Weeks Hopkins; and special aunt, Brenda Gonzales.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim & Wilma Heiny and Orville & Katherine Hopkins; and uncle, Randall Hopkins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at White River Christian Church, 1685 N. 10th St., Noblesville.
