Jere Eaton, 57, Middlebury, Ind., passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 24, 1963 in Indianapolis to James and DeDe Eaton.
Jere graduated from Manchester College where he also played basketball. He worked for Crossroads RV as a Regional Sales Manager. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Indianapolis Colts, playing basketball or simply out on his pontoon. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
Jere is survived by his son, Jake (Chelsea) Eaton, Goshen; daughter, Kori (Alex Mazurek) Eaton, Bonita Springs, Fla.; parents, James and DeDe Eaton, Fishers; brothers, Jim (Mary) Eaton, Cassopolis, Mich., Jeff Eaton, Noblesville, and Joe (Florie) Eaton, Fishers; his fiancée, Lori Floyd, Middlebury; his dog, Sadie; and his many good friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, Ind. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be private at Gracelawn Cemetery in Middlebury.
