Hamilton County Chief Deputy Coroner Jeff Jellison won his bid for Coroner in Tuesday’s primary election. Following his victory, Jellison said, “I want to thank the voters for their support. I will, of course, treat this office and every single case with the respect and professionalism they deserve. Thank you for putting your faith in me.”

Jellison was challenged by forensic psychiatrist and Navy veteran Ned P. Masbaum, MD: “Many, many thanks to my Campaign Manager, Becky Ragsdale, for her outstanding work and countless hours for months getting the information out on the importance of having a Physician as Coroner. Thank you to my son, Bob Masbaum and my grandson Christian Masbaum for all the hours they put in handing out literature and talking with people in the community about such an important issue. Thank you to the citizens of Hamilton County who came out to vote for me.”
