July 10, 1951 – August 13, 2017
Jeffrey R. Anderson, 66, of Noblesville, walked through the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 13, 2017 after fighting a brave, courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 10, to Robert and Norma (Downs) Anderson in Noblesville.
Jeff was a graduate of Noblesville High School and went on to receive his journeyman certification. He worked for many years, before purchasing Vibcon and becoming a business owner. He retired in 2016. He was also a Reserve Lt. and S.W.A.T. team member for the Noblesville Police Department. He was a gifted acoustic and bass guitar musician and member of the praise team at his church. One of his favorite things to do was to get together with friends to play music at private venues in Arcadia. Jeff had been involved with Babe Ruth baseball and Noblesville football. He enjoyed gardening, grilling and cooking; and was a firearms advocate. He enjoyed going to Florida every winter and on several occasions surprising his in-laws by walking up to their door and saying ‘Hi’ to announce his arrival.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Robin Anderson; two children, son, Brandon Anderson and daughter, Jessica Anderson; siblings, Ken (wife: Joot) Anderson and Rebecca K. (Anderson) Hodson; and nieces & nephews, Steven Matthew Hodson, Rebecca L. (Hodson) Larsen and Katherine (Anderson) Sindel.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate.
