Jeanette Lillian Craig, 92, Westfield, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on January 20, 1929 to Opher and Hazel (Halberstadt) Williams in Sheridan.
Jeanette loved being around people and enjoyed her job at Walmart for nine years. She loved going shopping and to garage sales. Jeanette enjoyed sewing and crochet. She loved the Indiana State Fair and any kind of local fair. Jeanette was a good cook and canned early in her life. She also enjoyed getting together with her family for cookouts. Most of all, Jeanette loved raising her kids.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Steve) Baker, Susan (John) Clevenger, James (Rachel) Craig, Carol (Richard) Heflin, Janet (Richard) Macy, Tina (Brad) Smith, and Lori (Jerry) Johnson; 31 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Craig; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the service following at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Private family burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
