Janus clients supplying artwork, handmade projects for new store

While the staff and clients at Janus may not be able to come together as in the past due to COVID restrictions, many clients are back in the building and busy with their work.

With this in mind, Janus will offer an opportunity for some of its supporters to visit the new Janus Store. The front lobby at Janus has taken on a new look with a store that displays clients’ artwork and projects for sale.

A Fall Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14. The Janus Open House will be a RSVP event only. Attendees will follow the COVID guidelines that Janus clients, staff and guests follow, which include entry temperature checks, masks, and social distancing. The store will be open to only four guests at a time.

Reservations will be taken for 30-minute time slots starting at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., etc., which will allow time to browse and purchase items. Client items include handmade canvas artwork, bird houses and feeders, dog toys, Mary & Joseph and snowmen wooden figures, ornaments, notecards, key chains, magnets, canvas bags and decorative wine bottles. Credit cards and checks are welcome, as well as cash in the exact amount.
