Janis Lesley Price

December 30, 1963 – October 7, 2021

Janis Lesley Price, 57, Carmel, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel. She was born on December 30, 1963 in Indianapolis.

Janis was a beloved daughter, exceptional mother of five, and grandmother of one, whose pride and joy was her family. In high school Janis was the top flute player in the band and top player on the tennis team. She graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Janis enjoyed working out and exercising, so much that she used to be a personal trainer. She also enjoyed many outdoor activities like camping, hiking, gardening, biking, and roller blading. Janis had a great sense of humor, was very funny, and very smart.

She is survived by her mother, Marlene (Robert) Richards; father, Dr. Wesley Peik; children, Jordyn (Macel) Lopez, Russell Price, Samuel Price, Frank Price, and David Price; grandson, Camilo Lopez; siblings, Pamela Bender, Wesley (Amanda) Peik, and Ted Wright; and many other extended family members.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home.

    So sorry she suffered so long. She was a good mother and person. She will be missed greatly.
