Janine Helen Schumm, 75, Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on June 22, 1947, to the late Joszef and Anna Sliwa in Trier, Germany.
Janine worked as an administrative assistant for multiple companies through the years. She enjoyed working part-time at the Fishers YMCA. Janine was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer. Janine had a strong love for animals.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Nathan) Hacker, and Lisa (Tom) McCracken; four grandchildren, Austin & Kasey Hacker, and Courtney & Evan McCracken; and her beloved cat, Buddy.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m., on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Rev. Sean M. Aaron will officiate.
