James G. Hawkins, 65, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on October 11, 1952 to Eugene and Margaret (Highland) Hawkins in Indianapolis.
Jim was a manager in the urethane field industry for over 40 years before retiring. He also owned JMC Counter Point Company for 27 years. Jim has been recognized in the “Who’s Who of Indianapolis.” He enjoyed playing guitar and played with Duke Tumatoe. Jim especially liked to spend time with his pets, Crickit and Lucy. He was the solid rock of the family.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Hawkins, Jim was the love of Mary Ann’s life; and the loved father of Chris Hawkins; mother, Margaret E. Hawkins; brothers, Ted (Gloria) Hawkins, Steve (Sheila) Hawkins and Daniel (Cathy) Hawkins; sister-in-law, Rebecca Reeves; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the time of service at the funeral home.
