This past Saturday, Jackson Township held its third annual employee appreciation event for local firefighters. Each year the event begins with kayaking on White River and ends with a City BBQ family dinner. This even is always funded with donations, and this year, Hamilton County Commissioner Mark Heirbrandt, Indiana State Representative Tony Cook, and Hamilton County Councilman Steve Schwartz sponsored the event.
