Ivy Tech Community College Hamilton County has announced a new partnership with DriveCo CDL Learning Center, a leading truck driving school, to provide comprehensive training and career opportunities in the trucking industry.

This collaboration aims to address the growing demand for skilled truck drivers and empower individuals with the necessary skills for a rewarding career in transportation.
Through this partnership, Ivy Tech Hamilton County students will have access to DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s industry-leading Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program. DriveCo CDL Learning Center’s experienced instructors will provide hands-on training and instruction, covering essential driving techniques, safety protocols, and industry regulations. Students will also gain proficiency in vehicle inspection, maneuvering, and defensive driving skills.

The program will be open to individuals seeking to enhance their career prospects in the trucking field. Students who successfully complete the CDL training program will receive a certificate of completion from DriveCo CDL Learning Center, demonstrating their proficiency and readiness for employment. In addition, they will sit for the State CDL Skills Test to obtain their Commercial Driver’s License.
