Thank you to National Association of Letter Carriers Local 888 and the fine people of Hamilton County for donating the equivalent of 45,008 meals through the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive to help the community. This helped 14 food pantries and programs as well as the Food Bank restock their shelves. Thank you also to Meijer, which provided the bags patrons received in the mail prior to the food drive.

DON’T FORGET . . . Today you can shop at your local Kroger to help Pack the Cruiser! Find more information below.

TODAY: Pack the Cruiser

There are over 7,120 children in Hamilton County who are food insecure.

That’s one out of every 13 local children.

Summer is a vulnerable time. Summer Lunch programs across the county make up the meal gap by providing nutritious meals throughout the summer months.

You can help by donating to the Pack the Cruiser Food Drive TODAY, June 1. This is the seventh year for this partnership between Kroger, the local police and Sheriff’s departments, Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, and all the Summer Lunch programs across Hamilton County.

Support local programs at these local Kroger grocery stores:

  • Kroger Carmel stores (two) – Carmel Summer Meals
  • Kroger Fishers stores (three) – Fishers Youth Assistance
  • Kroger on Carey Road in Westfield – Sheridan Lunch Club & Sheridan Youth Assistance
  • Kroger on Spring Mill Road in Westfield – Open Doors Westfield
  • Kroger on Logan Street in Noblesville – Hamilton Heights Lunches & Angels’ Attic
  • Kroger at Noble Crossing in Noblesville – Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank

You can donate to Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank anytime at hchfoodbank.org/online-giving.
