Kirchberg, who leads the Division, said, “When a fire is incendiary, meaning it involves arson, we need to be able to switch roles and properly conduct an investigation. We owe it to the citizens of Jackson Township, as well as the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, to be experts in our field.”

Jackson Fire Chief Jeff Muszar said, “When we have a fire, we have to utilize a lot of resources from different agencies. By increasing what our department can do itself, we can limit the amount of strain that we put on other department’s resources. I’m incredibly proud of the progressiveness of not only the Investigation Division but our entire department. We have come a long way in a few years and I’m excited to see where we will go in the future.”
