The Indianapolis AlleyCats dropped their first game of the season last Saturday to the Atlanta Hustle 25-18.

Seth Gudeman and Cameron Brock both had three goals for the Cats, with Cam Thatcher and Nick Betsch both making three assists. Nick Hutton and Brock both dished out two assists, while Elliot Hawkins, Jake Kenniv, Drew Happe and Ben Close all scored two goals.

Indianapolis coach Drew Sheppard said the difference was “self-inflicted mistakes. We could look at the stats, I bet we had three giveaways to every one takeaway that they had. Play that, get beat.”

The AlleyCats are 1-1 and are off next week; they host the Chicago Union Saturday, June 1 at Grand Park Events Center.
