Motorists traveling from Carmel into Marion County will experience two bridge closures beginning Tuesday, July 6. The closures will be put in place to allow workers to install new deck overlays.
96th Street over I-465 will be closed on Tuesday, July 6 and is scheduled to remain closed until Friday, July 9. During the closure, the public can take the signed detour: Ditch Road to 106th Street to Spring Mill Road and back to 96th Street.
The second bridge to close is Westfield Boulevard over I-465. The bridge is scheduled to close on Wednesday, July 7 and will remain closed through Sunday, July 11. During the closure, the public is asked to take the signed detour. For traffic coming from the north, take 96th Street to Keystone Avenue to 86th Street back to Westfield Boulevard. For traffic coming from the south, take Westfield Boulevard to 86th Street to Keystone Avenue to 96th Street back to Westfield Boulevard.
