The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has awarded a $552,400 contract to Calumet Civil Contractors to replace two drainage culverts on State Road 32.
One culvert is located 3.5 miles east of State Road 38 between Durbin Road and Prairie Baptist Road in Hamilton County. The other culvert is located 2.8 miles east of State Road 13 between Madison County roads 800 West and 725 West.
State Road 32 will be closed for up to 45 days and may be closed at both locations concurrently. During the closures, a signed detour will direct highway traffic around construction via State Road 38, Interstate 69 and State Road 9.
A start date will be announced after a project schedule is submitted by contractors. All work on the projects is expected to be complete by November 2018.
