Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 20 when the third annual Indiana Peony Festival powered by Duke Energy returns to historic Seminary Park in Noblesville.

The free event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., features more than 70 vendors celebrating Indiana’s state flower, the peony, with beautiful floral installations decorating the park as well as arts and crafts, food and drink, entertainment, and educational presentations.

The festivities kick off with a VIPP (Very Important Peony Person) event, “Peonies in the Park” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 19. Sponsored by Smith Jewelers, the ticketed event is a fundraiser for the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to continue its work with beautification projects, peony gardens, and horticulture education as well as promoting Hamilton County as a desirable destination for peony lovers.

In addition to the festivities in the park on May 20, “Brunch and Blooms” provides visitors with peony-inspired food and drink throughout the day from local restaurants in seven outdoor locations around the historic downtown including four of them in “full bloom” in peony-inspired decorated alleys.
