Indiana High School Tennis Coaches announces All-District awards

The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association announced its All-District awards earlier this month.

Hamilton County teams are in District 6, and several players earned singles and doubles All-District honors. Those players are as follows:

Singles: Wes Worobel, Carmel; Parker Paramoure, Westfield; Charlie Phillips, Guerin Catholic; Jack Tiplick, Guerin Catholic; Aidan Foley, Fishers; Gavin Conrad, Fishers; Alex Piercy, Hamilton Southeastern; Brady Stump, Hamilton Southeastern; Vishal Shankar, Carmel; Luke Stoecker, Westfield; Andrew Kim, Carmel.

Doubles: Rhys Garrison and David Cacchillo, Guerin Catholic; Michael Bao and Grant Mu, Carmel; Tyler Rich and Landon Osswald, Hamilton Southeastern; Jack Brenneman and Dane Campbell, Noblesville; Venkata Sanjith Boddu and Rajeev Singh, Carmel; Parker Gibbs and Jay Hostetter, Westfield.

Several county tennis players also were named to the individual Academic All-State team. The award is given to seniors with a minimum 3.8 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and a minimum SAT score of 1280 or ACT Score of 27.

County players receiving Academic All-State are: Michael Bao, Carmel; Venkata Sanjith Boddu, Carmel; Beau Wolf, Fishers; Eric Hartman, Fishers; Tyler Rich, Hamilton Southeastern; Max Habel, Noblesville; Ethan Feliciano, Noblesville; Jack Brenneman, Noblesville; Jack Brennan, Westfield; Parker Gibbs, Westfield; Jay Hostetter, Westfield.

In addition, Carmel, Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Noblesville and Westfield high schools also received team academic honors. Those go to schools with a minimum of a cumulative 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
