The Indiana Fever is a presenting sponsor of the IHSAA girls basketball tournament, and two members of the team graced Sectional 8 at Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday. Erica Wheeler (and Lexie Hull were on hand during the game to sign autographs for fans; they also graciously smiled for the Reporter’s camera.
Wheeler and Hull have been busy all this week representing the Fever during girls basketball sectional week. They attended a practice at Connersville on Monday. Wheeler also stopped by the Bridgewater Healthcare Center near 146th Street and Carey Road Tuesday afternoon, where she led residents in a workout.
Hull and Wheeler made stops at Brookside School 54 in Indianapolis on Wednesday for lunch, then went to the Pike sectional later that evening. Hull will visit Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital on Thursday before making an appearance at the Cathedral sectional on Friday.
