Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announces new chief actuary

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announced Monday that Carmel native David Brentlinger has joined the company as chief actuary of the Life Division.

With nearly 40 years of experience in the financial industry, Brentlinger brings a deep understanding of the insurance industry to Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. He attended Miami University in Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in actuarial science from Butler University.

Born and raised in Carmel, he and his wife, Cheryl, still reside there. The couple has two grown daughters and recently celebrated the births of their first two grandchildren, both girls. In his free time, he enjoys golfing (he played at the collegiate level), the outdoors, exploring downtown Carmel with his family, and spending time with his new granddaughters.
