Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, partnered with CBS4 and The Salvation Army for this year’s Angel Tree Program. This seasonal program brings joy and happiness to those less fortunate during the holiday season by providing clothing, special-needs gifts and other wished-for items such as toys and games. Through the partnership, IMCU adopted 26 Angels from Central Indiana which will ensure these children have a happy holiday.
IMCU branches and its corporate headquarters shopped from the children’s specific lists to help fill their needs and prepared the gifts for delivery to The Salvation Army on Dec. 11.
“IMCU has a strong commitment to the communities in which our members live and work and we are proud to partner with The Salvation Army and CBS4 for The Angel Tree Program to help provide children in need in our community with a brighter and happier holiday,” stated Ron Collier, President and CEO of IMCU.
Mandy Emery, Vice President of Community Involvement at IMCU, said, “The generosity and support of our employees here at IMCU is amazing. They shopped for these Angels as though they were one of their own. So proud to be a part of IMCU and reflect the true spirit of the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’, not just during the holidays but year round.”
