On behalf of Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) members, IMCU recently presented a check for $10,000 to Little Red Door Cancer Agency as part of its exclusive Cancer Awareness Debit Card Program.
IMCU members nominate a different local cancer related organization to be the beneficiary each year. Little Red Door Cancer Agency was the selected beneficiary for the past year, receiving a contribution for each signature-based transaction made with this card from March 2020 to February 2021.
Thorpe Miller, Vice President of Business Development & Marketing at IMCU, presented the check to Fred Duncan, Director and CEO of the Little Red Door Cancer Agency, on Jan. 27.
“Thank you to Indiana Members Credit Union and their members for supporting Little Red Door Cancer Agency,” Duncan said. “For over 75 years, we have been providing critical services to cancer patients in the community and this wouldn’t be possible without donors and partners like IMCU. Thank you.”
“Little Red Door Cancer Agency provides an invaluable service to patients dealing with the spectrum of difficulties that arise from a Cancer diagnosis,” Miller said. “The overwhelming popularity of our Cancer Awareness debit card shows that our members love to support these programs. Indiana Members Credit Union is happy to be the conduit that connects that support to a great cause.”
The card is available for issue to members at IMCU’s 30 Indiana locations. The IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card is an option to members with a free checking account and can be issued immediately via IMCU’s instant issue program, which allows members to receive their debit card on the spot.
The new beneficiary for the IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card will be announced in the coming weeks on IMCU’s website and social media platforms.
