After learning about a fire that destroyed the home of a member of her AAU basketball team from Henry County last week, Jillian Osswald, also a member of the Hamilton Heights girls basketball team, knew she wanted to do something to help.
She reached out to her Husky teammates and they were all in. The students rounded up a few buckets (Hill Fire Fund) to send through the stands at this Friday’s home basketball game against Noblesville.
“They lost everything in the fire and this is one small way we can come together to help this family,” said Osswald, whose club teammate is a sophomore at Shenandoah High School.
