The Hamilton Heights volleyball team was swept by New Palestine 25-15, 25-17, 25-11 on Wednesday.
Kennedy Lewis had 24 attack attempts, while Carly Ward made 10 digs. Kelsey Smith dished out 16 assists.
Carmel dropped a five-set match to defending Class 4A state champion Avon on Tuesday, 22-25, 28-26, 25-22, 14-25, 15-8.
Elana Brueggeman led the Greyhounds’ offense with 19 kills, with Emma Harmon putting down 15 kills and Gabby Smith hitting 13. Lauren Van Remortel dished out 27 assists, while Anne Lesure handed out 21.
Kelsie Twyner and Lexi Brehl both had four blocks. Sophie Oliphant collected 26 digs, while Brueggemann had 18 and Harmon made 12.
The Greyhounds are 3-2 for the season and will play at Yorktown tonight.
