Hamilton Heights finished its regular season Thursday with an 80-55 victory over Heritage Christian.
It was the Class 3A No. 1 Huskies’ Pink Out night, benefitting the IWIN Foundation, which supports breast cancer patients. Heights led 23-16 after one quarter, with Katie Brown making five 3-pointers.
Ella Hickok joined the fun in the second quarter, hitting two triples. The Huskies led 37-27 at halftime, then sailed through the third period, scoring 27 points for a 64-37 lead. Camryn Runner got going with 13 points in the third, including a pair of 3s.
Runner finished the game with 31 points. Brown nailed one more 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, giving her six for the game. She totaled 21 points. Hickok scored 13; she and Runner each had three 3s.
Heights is now 20-2, making this the second consecutive season the Huskies have reached the 20-win mark. They travel to Yorktown Wednesday to play New Castle in the first round of Sectional 24.
