Hamilton Heights participated in the Tipton Invitational on Friday.
The Huskies girls finished second out of five teams. Markaela Pugh was a double winner in the 100 and 200 dashes, as was Maria Mitchell in the 1600 and 3200 runs. Other Heights first-place finishers were Abby Christiansen in the 400 dash, Abby Roth in the 800 run and the 4×800 and 4×400 relay teams.
The Huskies boys took third place. Christian Broshears took the 300 hurdles, Isaiah Kunzer won the pole vault, and Dylan Bannon and Tyler Wiltermood finished 1-2 in the shot put.
