Huskies tennis beats Pendleton

Hamilton Heights picked up a win at Pendleton Heights on Saturday by the score of 3-2.
The Huskies won straight-set matches from No. 3 singles Abby Weber and the doubles teams of No. 1 Kylie Rose and Emma Knowles and No. 2 Emily Peterson and Kinsey Dimmock.
“This team continues to get better and better,” said Heights coach Cameron Scott. “I’m not sure if our team from two or three weeks ago could have won a match like the one today, but these girls just continue to embrace the process and improve daily. Really proud of the way Abby Weber turned things around at No. 3 after a slow start.”
The Huskies’ junior varsity won its match 5-2. Victories came from Hailey VanOeveren in singles and the doubles teams of Addi Gordon/Katy Beery, Kate Biggs/Brooke Sears, Jackie Beery/Cortney Martin, and Rebekah Steffen/Sarah Biggs.
Heights is now 5-2 for the season, with the JV 5-1-1.
