Hamilton Heights scored a huge win at Greenfield-Central on Tuesday, beating the Cougars 56-35.
The Huskies outscored Greenfield in each quarter, leading 11-7 after the first period and 28-15 at halftime. MyKayla Moran led Heights with 16 points, going 8-of-10 from the field.
“Tremendous effort by MyKayla Moran tonight,” said Huskies coach Keegan Cherry. “She was dominant inside. Really proud of her.”
Bayleigh Runner added 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Jillian Osswald, Runner and Moran all had three rebounds, and Runner also made six steals. Heights had 16 assists on the night, with Osswald and Payton Dissett both handing out six and Runner dishing out four.
“Our guard play was really unselfish and got the ball where it needed to be all night,” said Cherry.
The Huskies are 3-3 and host Fort Wayne Northrop on Saturday afternoon.
