Huskies return to action with dominating win

Hamilton Heights returned to action with a dominating Hoosier Conference win at Lewis Cass on Thursday, by the score 71-19.
The Huskies led 12-6 after the first quarter and 37-12 at halftime; Heights never allowed the Kings more than six points in a period. Bayleigh Runner had an incredible game with 22 points (including four 3-pointers), five steals, four rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots.
Jillian Osswald added 13 points and dished out six assists, while Lauryn Wiley contributed 12 points. Both had four rebounds, as did Abby Christiansen. Mykayla Moran led the rebounds with five, while Payton Dissett made four steals.
The Huskies are 1-1 in the conference’s East Division and 7-8 overall. Heights will host Westfield at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
