Huskies pull away from Lebanon

Hamilton Heights slowly pulled away from Lebanon in the first three quarters, then finished strong on its way to a 54-33 win over the Tigers.
The Huskies led 12-10 after the first quarter and 24-14 at halftime. Heights outscored Lebanon in each period, finishing the game with a 20-point fourth quarter.
Bayleigh Runner had an outstanding game, scoring 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field. Jillian Osswald added 15 points. Huskies coach Keegan Cherry said “Bayleigh was a monster” and “Jillian was also really good.”
Runner, Payton Dissett and Chloe Henderson each collected four rebounds. Heights had 19 team steals, with Dissett making six, and Osswald and Runner both getting five. MyKayla Moran blocked three shots.
“Proud of entire team,” said Cherry. “We’re making progress.”
The Huskies are 2-3 and play Tuesday at Greenfield-Central.
