A big second quarter made all the difference for Hamilton Heights’ boys on Thursday, as the Huskies defeated Frankton 66-59 in an away game.
Heights led 12-11 after one quarter, then powered through the second period, scoring 22 points for a 34-23 halftime lead. The Eagles played even with the Huskies in the second half, but Heights was able to stay ahead and get the win.
Three players reached double figures. Tillman Etchison led the way with 20 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals. John Irion had 18 points, while Maddox Bohland scored 10 and led the rebounding with six.
The Huskies are 6-11 and play this afternoon at Winchester.
