Huskies get comeback win at Frankfort

Hamilton Heights came back from a halftime deficit to beat Frankfort 71-58 Saturday night in a game at the Hot Dogs’ legendary Case Arena.
Frankfort led 16-12 after the first quarter and 31-21 at halftime. The Huskies turned up their defense in the third period, allowing the Hot Dogs only nine points. Heights got its offense going as well, scoring 25 points in both the third and fourth quarters.
Gus Etchison and Camron Knott both scored 16 points, while Issiac Hickok nailed four 3-pointers on his way to 14 points. Knott and Brent Pennington came close to double-doubles, as Pennington had 10 rebounds and nine points, while Knott had nine rebounds. Etchison, Hickok and Luke Carroll all collected five rebounds and Hudson Hochstedler dished out six assists.
The Huskies are 13-6 for the season. Heights will travel to Lafayette Central Catholic on Friday to play for the Hoosier Conference championship. The Huskies finished East Division play 4-0, while the Knights completed West Division play 4-0 as well.
