Hamilton Heights dropped a close game at Western on Tuesday, 56-55 in a Hoosier Conference East Division contest.
The Huskies led 17-14 after one quarter and 31-24 at halftime. The Panthers cut that lead to 46-41 after three periods, then outscored Heights 15-9 in the fourth.
Katie Brown scored 20 points for the Huskies, including three 3-pointers, and also had six rebounds and five steals. Kamryn Rhoton added nine points and had six steals and five assists.
Heights is 1-1 in the division standings and 4-13 overall. The Huskies are back on the road Saturday, traveling to Tipton to finish division play.
