Hamilton Heights had a tough time in its season opener Wednesday, falling to Lebanon 71-42 on the road at the Tigers’ Rosenstihl Gymnasium.
Lebanon outscored the Huskies in each of the four quarters, leading 21-12 after one quarter and 34-23 at halftime. Heights played it closest in the third period, where Maddox Bohland poured in 11 points in that quarter. But the Tigers still led 50-38 after three, then ran away with the fourth by outscoring the Huskies 21-4.
Bohland led Heights with 16 points, while Tillman Etchison added 10 points.
The Huskies play their first home game of the season Tuesday, hosting Clinton Central.
