Hamilton Heights’ boys basketball team got a nice win in its first home game of the season, beating Clinton Central 63-36.
The Huskies outscored the Bulldogs in each quarter, leading 15-12 after the first period and 28-21 at halftime. Heights increased its lead to 46-31 after three quarters and finished the game with a 17-5 fourth period.
Three Huskies players reached double figures. Dreydin Serna scored 20 points, also blocking two shots. Gavin Saunders totaled 12 points and Tyler Champion had a solid all-around game with 10 points, seven steals, five rebounds and five assists.
Heights is 1-1 and plays Friday at New Castle.
