The REPORTER
The Hamilton Heights cross country team swept both the boys and girls races last Thursday as the Huskies hosted the Landes Invitational meet.
The Heights girls team scored 17 points and swept the top four individual places, led by winner Allie Bushey, who finished the course in 20 minutes, 7.8 seconds. University placed second as a team with 68 points; Laurel Gough-Mckeown led the Trailblazers by taking fifth.
In the boys meet, the Huskies won with 45 points; Rudy Bowman took fourth to lead Heights. University placed third with 73 points, just behind runner-up Clinton Central’s 72 points. Finlay Reid led the Blazers by placing third.
