Hamilton Heights’ boys dropped its Hoosier Conference East Division opener to Lewis Cass Friday, 69-64 at the Huskies’ gym.
The Kings led 18-11 after one quarter. Heights cut that lead to one point by halftime, at 29-28. Both teams got their offenses going in the third period, with Cass ahead 52-50 going into the fourth quarter. The Kings then added 17 points in the final period to clinch the game.
Tillman Etchison led the Huskies with 18 points. Sam Dawson added 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers. John Irion collected four rebounds and made four steals.
Heights is 1-4 overall and plays tonight at Delta.
