Hamilton Heights snapped a five-game losing streak on Saturday, defeating New Castle 41-35 in a home game.
The Huskies led 12-8 after the first quarter and 20-15 at halftime. The Trojans came back to within 24-23 after three periods, but a 17-point fourth quarter sealed the game for Heights.
Lauryn Wiley earned a double-double, scoring 18 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Bayleigh Runner had an outstanding performance from the free throw line, going 12-of-12 to score all 12 of her points. Runner also pulled five rebounds and handed out four assists. Mykalya Moran grabbed six rebounds.
Heights is 6-7 and will host Fishers on Friday.
