Hurricane pushes back football games

Six of Hamilton County’s eight scheduled Friday night football games were moved back to Saturday because of the high winds and rain associated with Hurricane Helene that moved through Indiana.

Here is a list of reschedule times for each game.

– Noblesville’s Homecoming game with Franklin Central will kick off at 10 a.m.

– Carmel plays at North Central; that game starts at 11 a.m.

– Guerin Catholic got two minutes into its game at Bishop Chatard before it was suspended. The game will resume at 3 p.m. today.

– Westfield plays at Brownsburg, with kick off at 3 p.m.

– Hamilton Southeastern’s Homecoming game with Zionsville starts at 3 p.m.

– Fishers plays at Avon; the start time is 4 p.m.
