Hamilton Southeastern junior Mattingly Upchurch announced he has committed to Ball State University.
Upchurch will sign his national letter of intent next November. As a sophomore, Upchurch tied for eighth at this past spring’s IHSAA state finals, helping the Royals to a third-place team finish and earning him All-State honors. Upchurch was also named to the Reporter’s First Team All-County, winning the individual sectional title.
