The Cleveland State men’s basketball team is going dancing, as the Vikings won the Horizon League Tournament. Cleveland State beat Oakland 80-69 in the championship game of the tournament, which took place at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis. The Vikings will be making their first NCAA tournament appearance in 12 years.
Hamilton Southeastern graduate Mabor Majak (pictured here during CSU’s Monday semi-final win over Milwaukee) is a freshman with the Vikings team this season. As a first-year player, Majak has seen action in 11 games. He scored four points and pulled three rebounds in Cleveland State’s Dec. 13 game at Ohio State, and three points at the Viking’s Dec. 6 contest at Ohio University.
