The Hamilton Southeastern girls tennis team won the Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet, which took place Saturday at Fishers High School.
The No 6-ranked Royals scored 49 points for first place, followed by Fishers with 42 points. Other team scored were Avon 38, Westfield 35, Noblesville 31, Brownsburg 25, Franklin Central 23 and Zionsville 22.
Southeastern’s doubles teams led the way, with No. 1 Misha Bukkasagaram and Emily Orme and No. 2 Kaylee Etheredge and Meghan Slaninka winning their flights.
No. 1 singles Tea Vrkic and No. 2 singles Taylor Wolf both finished as runners-up; all of the above were named to the All-Conference team. No. 3 singles Emma Bieberich also placed second in her division.
The No. 8-ranked Tigers had two flight champions: No. 1 singles Lucy Loy and No. 2 singles Izzy Mokra.
No. 15-ranked Westfield’s No. 1 doubles team of Maya Raymond and Olivia Krauss led the Shamrocks by placing third in their flight.
